Managing your overall health, not just your pain

As we move through our 40s and 50s, chronic health conditions can often appear without us realising. On top of ongoing pain or fear of movement, you might also be dealing with a condition like high blood pressure or depression.

At St Kilda Movement and Wellness, we see you as a whole person. That means we don’t just focus on your pain; we also support you in managing your overall health. We will help you understand how movement and exercise can play a powerful role in feeling better and staying well. After all, “Exercise is Medicine.”

At St Kilda Movement and Wellness, we support people living with a wide range of health conditions, including:

  • Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes
  • Heart and lung conditions
  • High blood pressure
  • Balance and falls prevention
  • Osteoporosis and osteopenia
  • Arthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Back pain
  • Musculoskeletal injuries and concerns
  • Weight Management and Metabolic Health
  • Mental health conditions (including anxiety and depression)

  • Neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s and MS

Our approach is different. It is tailored to you.

Mobile visits & telehealth

At St Kilda Movement and Wellness, we offer home visits in the Bayside area and telehealth appointments to help reduce any stress or worry about going to a clinic or gym.  This gives you the chance to begin building a positive connection with movement and exercise in a space that feels safe and comfortable.

If you already attend a gym or are thinking about joining one, we can also meet you there to help you get started with your new program and make sure you are doing the exercises safely and correctly.
